I'm not the type of guy that goes around bragging about personal accomplishments, instead I tend to just document my "Milestones" to motivate and inspire people. 💁🏼♂️
If a person like myself who can't write well with bad grammar who has never blogged before in his entire life can hit these small goals... anyone can do it. 💯
Today, I hit over 10,000+ Followers on STEEMIT! 🎉
Having or accumulating lots of followers is not a "Big Deal" in the world of Social Media in my book. All it shows is that you are constantly putting up content or documenting decent content.
So Charles, what makes people more popular than others?
People tend to follow people that they connect with and if you are consistent enough, you can build a huge following with little effort. It's simple to do but not easy. 🙇🏼♂️
It's kind of funny when the "Naysayers" complain that they can't build a following. Remember, everyone starts with 0 Followers when they join a new "social media platform". It's a level playing field for everyone, you just have to be a little better than 80% of the average people posting junk content.
Just point a few things out, having followers on Steemit is different than other platforms. Many have left and only a few will see your content on a daily bases based on how the Steemit site was created. However, it does show people that you have some type of influence. 👨🏼🎓
The best time to get "known" on Steemit is when they "Cryptocurrency Markets" are down as people get less interested in posting content because of the lower payouts.
This is a huge mistake, when less people post... it's easier for you to "standout" from the rest and when they do all comeback, you will have more leverage of influence than they do. In other words, stay consistent!
This month has been a great time to be consistent and start accumulating that lovely "Steem Power" while most people have that "wait" and "see" attitude. 🤑
