It’s your daily run down of the numbers and charts that we try to make financial sense of the world we live in. Today is Tuesday so buckle up and get ready.
——PRECIOUS METALS——
Gold prices have just begun to move higher after sitting dormant for weeks. But precious metal bull markets tend to follow a pattern.Gold is the first precious metal investors tend to buy in bull markets, which tend to push gold prices higher. But once the price of gold reaches a certain level, investors start buying up its more affordable ted headed step brother....silver.
——CRYPTO CURRENCIES——
Since the start of this year, people have been less interested on investing in the altcoin market, which hasn’t seen anywhere near the engagement it was having at the end of last year. This is most likely because their is a fear among investors that still doubts about putting their money into an altcoin when the market is favoring the top market cap cryptocurrencies.
——STOCKS——
Stocks are continuing to rise and are being driven by strong corporate results. This is a continuation of yesterday’s rally in the markets and commodities as well.
——OIL PER BARREL——
OPEC, as well as those outside the energy cartel, including Russia, have been restraining crude output by 1.8 million barrels a day since the start of last year. The agreement, meant to rein in a global supply glut that has weighed on prices for over three years, is set to expire at the end of 2018.
—— US DOLLAR INDEX——
Another uptick in the conference board’s U.S. consumer confidence survey may boost the appeal of the U.S. dollar as it encourages the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) to implement higher borrowing-costs over the coming months. The greenback gained ground with EUR/USD slipping below the 1.2250 region to close the day at 1.2232.

my favorite among this group is the Ozark Riverways in Missouri.
Established in 1964 the Ozark National Scenic Riverways was an effort to conserve the natural resources of the Current and Jack Fork rivers, over 130 miles of spring fed riverways. This is the first federally protected river system and its establishment led to the National Wild and Scent Rivers Act of 1968.
The park consists of over 80,000 acres and it attracts over 1,000,000 visitors a year. Not only is it is a popular site for canoeing, hiking, fishing, spelunking and camping, it includes noteworthy cultural sites such as Alley Mill and ceremonial sites used by the Osage Indians.
