Hi Folks,
This is the very first post I’m creating here on Steemit. I have (had) a little country store up in the mountains of north Georgia and I’ll share about that experience in another upcoming post.
Today I’m writing to ask your help naming this little baby that was born at our store last week.
He is a healthy little Pygmy goat mix and is the number 13 in our heard.
His mama, Lily, only had him this season. Here he is just a few moments old.
When you raise goats, a few things you need to do when one is born. First make sure they get some of mama’s milk right away because it contains immune-building colostrum. Next, you tie off the umbilical cord, cut it, and dip it in some iodine to keep bacteria from getting inside and possibly traveling to the baby.
Baby is now a week old and has been bouncing all over and exploring his new surroundings, but he still doesn’t have a name.
I need your help to come up with a name for this little fella.
