While going through the Oraimo website, I found an offer that was very tempting and very hard for me to look away from.
It was a buy one get one free offer.
Damn, this is the type of offer that is very hard for anyone to ignore. Imagine seeing a product for 12,000 naira with the offer to get two of the product for the price of one. This was a very tempting offer for me to ignore, even though I did not have the money for it. I could not just resist it.
I have been trying to deal with impulse spending, but looking at this, I could buy this product and then sell the free product and make my money back. Or instead, why don't I buy like three of the products and get three more free, then wait for the offer to be over and start looking for people who would be interested in buying the product at a cheaper price?
Enough talk; let me share with you a picture of the product I am talking about.
After much thinking, I could not resist the temptation of not buying, so I ordered the electric toothbrush and the wireless keyboard. Now let's look at the profiles of the products.
I already ordered this, and because it is get one free," I thought of taking one and giving the second one to Pearl. When I called Pearl and told her about this, she said I should not because it is not worth it and using a manual brush is better. Her main idea was that the money would be far more useful for something else important.
Since the product is paid on delivery, I would be canceling the order and saving the money as suggested by since she is right about it.
The second product was the keyboard. Below is the picture:
This product was the first that caught my eye. I remembered some months ago that Olujay got this single product for $12,500, and now I can get two of these products for twice the amount. I felt that I should source a large sum of money to buy 3 and get 6 back. But to give it a try, I decided to order one item and see if it would come with a free item.
Hopefully, the product will be delivered soon. One thing I don't like about Oraimo is that their delivery takes time, unlike that of Jumia, where I can get the product within 3 days of ordering it. I ordered this product almost 7 days ago, and I have yet to receive it.
