The first of the new batch of characters I created in Hero Forge was an anthropomorphic version of my cat. Hunter, or as I call her in Russian, Убийца-Кошка (Ubiitsa-Koshka, "killer cat"), is an adorable little ball of grey fur who is so skilled at killing small animals that I don't feed her kibble at all, and she's still fat. Now, I'm not the animé junkie that I was as a teen-ager, but I'm still aware enough to know how beloved that catgirls are, so I decided to turn Hunter into one:
Successful hunters are prepared for anything, so this catgirl huntress is armed to the teeth. From this angle, you can see a bear trap, holstered revolver, and side-by-side shotgun (though that could just as easily be a big-bore rifle).
From this angle, you can see the kukri and a stick of dynamite. Why dynamite? Well... "the bear cave is up ahead, and I plan on blowing that monster to kingdom come. Oh, I'm sure you think that's cowardly and unsportsmanlike. Whatever gets the job done, that's my motto." I may be able to spare some HP for anyone who can tell me what that's from.
Seriously, we're talking about a cat here, a fluffy little murder machine. If Hunter could use matches, she'd toss sticks of dynamite down gopher holes just like Bill Murray's character in Caddyshack.
On an even more serious note, the most effective way to get rid of gophers is with smoke bombs, not explosives. I will admit, however, that gassing the little pests isn't as fun as playing "pop goes the weasel" with them from an elevated patio 400 metres away using a sniper rifle.
Cats, however, like to play with their food, so they always take the approach that is most fun.
That's why she has a wry smile on her face as she aims the gun.
So, as you can see, I have this same character in two poses, just for fun. I've never played any tabletop role-playing games with miniatures, so without that experience, I don't have a good way of knowing what I could use this catgirl character for. I'm sure I'll find a reason to print her eventually anyway. She's a good kitty - and she's deadly in both melee and ranged combat.
