I totally love the idea of Steemit. Now I feel that the years of learning English were not in vain.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Marina. I am 20 years old.
My world changed when I was 18 because I got pregnant and had to quit my university to give birth to my child and take care of him (he is 2 now, a charming boy with pink cheeks, sorry, but I won't public a photo of him because I have irrational fear: I am afraid that someone can put the evil eye on him).
I was so happy when my son was born but anxious at the same time because his father left the moment he found out about my pregnancy. I did not know how to make my bread. Fortunately, my parents were very helpful so when I could not work I still had something to eat.
At first, I wanted to continue my education but then I realized that it was imposible to raise the child, study, and work at the same time. And studying was not my priority at the moment.
So I found a low-paid job as a call center operator. I got some instructions and then could continue working from home. It was a great start but this road was leading nowhere.
I saved up some money and worked out a concept of alphabet magnets. It was not new, strictly speaking, because there were people selling these things at that time, but I was one of those who were first to explore Instagram as a selling tool.
Of course, this magnet business is not much but for now I do not have time for anything bigger than this. Still, it helps me to make my living.
My dream is to do something large-scale. It would be great to produce something, for example, clothes and sell it in my own chain of stores. I think I am going to try something like this when my son grows up.
