Well, Steem City Niigatans, we've had a successful first week.
Below you will find the liquid reward payout information for week one, 10.27.17 - 11.3.17.
A few things to note:
Henceforth, all vest in SCN should be made in Steem and not in SBD. Due to the somewhat time-consuming conversion process necessary for powering up vestors' SBD (the process requires 3.5 days), calculating how much Steem the vest was worth becomes a somewhat arbitrary process as the exact moment of the conversion is unknown, and thus the value of Steem at that time. In the interest of acuracy and fairness, from here on out, please convert all SBD to Steem before investing. As percentage ownership of the account will be measured in terms of Steem, it is important that we use Steem for calculations and not Steem Dollars. THANKS!
For the sake of simplicity and transparency, all vests this time around--both SBD and Steem--have been counted as the same thing. In other words, one Steem vest has been counted as 1 SBD vest and vice versa. This lends itself to a bit of discrepancy as the respective prices are different and fluctuate, but in the interest of getting the records and the foundation all sound, straight, square, and solid,
and I figured this would be the easiest way. If you lost a penny or two, or gained a few cents and are pissed, let me know!
Regarding percentage of ownership in the table below (according to the numbers, I rounded up
and
to the next percent). I propose we do this for the lowest one or two vestors (as the case may necessitate) both in the interest of encouraging growth and mathematical clarity. If you guys wish to do percents with decimals further out for greater accuracy here, please let me know.
will be posting here soon detailing the exciting new feature of the monthly SP power down, where all vestors will receive their proportionate percentage of dividend Steem Power (SP beyond original vest amounts) at the end of the month. Be on the lookout!
One final thing. I still have not recouped my initial loss of 23 USD for the account creation fee with Anon Steem. I would like to let that ride for now and claim it at some later point (maybe even in the form of lunch or a couple beers at a meetup) if fellow vestors have no issue here. LET'S PLAN THAT MEETUP SOON!
