The thing about shopping is that you never know exactly what you are going to find. A shopping experience can be filled with joyous surprises or unexpected pitfalls. No matter how hard you try, you cannot plan every detail of a shopping trip, and you never know exactly how it will end up. - Amanda Ford
Going out for shopping is always a big task. Especially when you suppose to shop something once in a year like a metal shopping. Diwali festival is the time when many people goes out to shop for #metal items. It is considered to be auspicious. And same happen to me.
The moment I saw this, I was like wow... a 50 Gram solid silver bar up for sale. It was sparkling and shining a bit and was a treat to watch. It was under my budget too. But I already did have spent my part of money on a good ring. If I did not have invested on Gold. This one is pure master piece and going to be in.my posesseion this Diwali.
My tryst with gold purchases does not gone well this Dhanteras. The problem of living in small village area is that you will never get what you desire. You have to content with quality, quantity or the other. Same things happened with my gold purchases where I didn't got what I was expecting.
The dhanteras is all about buying any kind of metal. It may be of any kind, gold, silver, copper , steel etc. On Saturday, me and my cousion went out little further into the main city for shopping. He too pissed of the local market and wanted something good at a big market place. We ended up at a big store. The shop was big enough and have many items put up on display. Grey have statues, dishware, spoons and many other items.
Apart from the Gold, next best is silver metal. It is in always high demand on Diwali / Dhanteras. The fact that people looks out to buy silver on auspicious day of Diwali is depending on the returns from the investment. It is considered to be a good inflation hedge. This is the main factors drawing in investors to invest as much as possible in silver.
The shop owner shown us all kind of silver product ranging from silver ware items to coins to silver bar. Each of them looks brilliant. The more we see the kore we get doubtful. At first it was the silver glasses that pulled our attraction.
The one with the design weighs around 63 grams while thr other either plain look is around 43 grams. Both of them comes us with proper polish. Each of them were light weight.
People have different choices and they can make use of anything. These silver ware dish items were in demand too. Even though people do not put them in daily use but owning it on auspicious day is what matters most.
Silver Biscuit this is how we use to refer the silver bar in childhood. This is first time I saw a 50 Grams of silver biscuit.
It has a facial print at one side, while the item weighing details on the other side. It made me fallen in love for once. I was falling short of money, as I already utilised in buying a gold ring for myself.
Next in that I was shown was the Silver coin. On Dhanteras or Diwali festival, we use to honour Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesh by worshipping. They are considered to be the symbol of Wealth, prosperity, power and beauty. So the maximum selling items for most of the Indians are these coins.
There are two different sizes. One is bit heavier and other one bit lighter.
We alreasy spent enough time in makjng a choices and also in between doing Tye bargaining formalities. Here nothing can be bought without doing the bargaining. Even a penny matters and this is how things hoes for everything.
After looking around so many items we ended up shopping for the 10 Grams coin. It is a pure silver with this assurance in mind we returned back home for our further Diwali preparation.
Though this is not a regular shops but having a differrnt experience while you shop for such metalistic item once in a year.
