I went out today only to reminded that the higher secondary school examination has started. There were quite heavy traffic on the road and outside the school. The desperate parents and the kids were in hurry to reach their respective school for the examination. There were hope, dream and desperation all around. This is the time of the year, when most of the kids were on the verge of getting into adulthood. The blossom of youth is slowly transforming and entering into a new phase of life.
Our education structure is such that once the schooling is done the kids were looking for higher studies in colleges. And it all depends upon the marks secured in trimer higher school examination. This is why these examination is crucial in securing some top spot in college. The kids were usually under a lot of pressure to do better and some of the parents too have high expectations from their kids. But I believe, let the kids do the best of their own. Putting pressure and keeping expectation might not go well for either of the party. It is important to let them blossom in life as they want in life.
Talking of blossoming in life I have following pictures that I came across in a temple that make up my day. And these too reflect the condition of the school kids who were on their last stage of schooling.
The blossom flower represents the moment an individual begins to flourish, radiating unique talents, personality, and beauty to the world. The kids will take on the next level in life after clearing the examination and it is quite evident that they enter a phase that will introduce them to new experience and learning curve. This stage is regarded as the best time to enrich wisdom, courage, and confidence as they step into adulthood.
The blooming process captures the transformation of a teenager, "unfolding" from a closed, dependent child into an open, self-reliant adult. It was good to remind me of my time. Many things have changed but the hope and desperation of the kids and parent while they take an exam.
In good faith - Peace!!
