Black Lives Matter was founded with the premise that police men actively target black men because the city and national government are controlled by white people and the police duty is to persecute black people. BLM would have you believe that white people being the majority actively kill black people since white society is naturally racist. They would tell you there is nothing wrong with black society and the conditions of black people are the result of white people. This movement got its calling from the many alledged police abuses against the black community. Are there police abuses against African Americans? The answer would be of course there is but why and how prevalent is it. According to the USBJS the criminal rate of African Americans is three times higher than the national average. Police men have to train and learn how to stay alive on the job according to where they have to work. The prevalence of gangs and other criminals in low income neighborhoods make that job more difficult. Police officers are on edge because of the real danger these communities present. Leniency could be a matter of life and death. Where there is crime naturally the police will be more involved when it comes to searches and there trust of that community will be lower. Every cop is different and the corrupt cops are able to be even more corrupt when they are around a society that encourages criminal activity. So this is where BLM would step in to comfort and advocate for the victims of police brutality. The only problem is that since BLM's founding there has been eleven high profile cases which BLM has been involved in. Investigations in these cases say 2 deaths were because of police self defense, Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown, 2 deaths were because of excessive force, Eric Garner and Samuel Dubose, 3 deaths were because of accidents, Tamir Rice, Eric Harris and Johnathan Ferrel, 1 death was a suicide, Sandra Bland, and 1 death died in custody, Freddy Gray. The last two were this week and a proper investigation hasn't been done. The record show these cases are pretty routine. If you were to compare other police killings where the victims are white, hispanic, asian, or native you will find there not that different. Out of nine cases the police officer involved did not give themselves the task of killing black people. More of half of these cases the police officers we're following procedure and in the other half the police officers mishandled the situation. If we were to listen to BLM we would have the idea that African Americans are stopped all the time by the police. Eleven cases in 4 years would not seem too significant compared to overall police killings. So yes police abuse and corruption exist against all peoples in our society just like any institution on earth, no organization has eradicated corruption in society and no organization will. It's human nature. BLM would argue that black societies high crime rate and high imprisonment is because of white oppression. BLM forgets that other minorities have been in American society for fewer years than blacks and have lower crime levels and higher economic levels. If American society is so oppresive to blacks than why are there more successful black people in American than ever before. The culture of victimization in America is the culprit for the Dallas shootings. Instead of trying to fix the black community and culture, they have pointed their fingers at white society and their opinion their enforcers the police. Victimization politics in America really started after the civil rights era, has black people started to get the same rights has white people in society, civil rights activists started to ask for extra rights to better integrate black people into the middle class. The extra rights were needed to fight against the white racist society that wouldn't allow them to progress without them. This movement blamed every black economic problem on white society. After 40 years of this movement black society has improved less than moderately. Blacks in America to this day have the worst economic and crime situation. After there were no more extra economic programs they could get, the civil rights and social justice movements are now claiming that black people are victims of police brutality. Victimization politics in America has never asked the black community if they are to blame for their economic and social situation instead they have blamed everybody else. So is black culture to blame for these problems? High rates of crime prove that crime is a obvious part of black culture. In Black popular culture you can find many examples of criminality considered part of being a black man or woman. Is it a racial phenomenon? Although this culture is prevalent in African American culture other cultures like poor whites in America to a lesser extent tend to have a criminal culture as well but the black culture overall tends to be more prone to crime. I would like to say that this article is not saying that black people are criminal because of the color of their skin. This article is saying that black culture has more than typical criminality. Civil rights leaders and social justice warriors have never tried to solve the problems of the black community instead they have created a culture of blaming others for their societies problems. BLM has exploited police abuse instead of the root of the problem which is black culture. This has created a situation in black society where they think that any police shooting was done because of racism. In fact every problem in their society is ultimately blamed on racism. BLM through there propaganda has inflamed the black community and now 4 police officers are dead. So let us examine the two cases this week of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile. As with the other cases smart phone videos are initial evidence and usually the starter of accusations in our society. In Alton Sterling's case the video shows him being wrestled to the ground by two officers and the officers yelling for him to stay still and Alton being shot point blank in the chest. Those that took the video don't show when he gets shot they moved camera away nor how the officers approached him in the first place. Since you don't know these things from the video your first impression is the officers down to the ground and then shot him several times. This would outrage anybody. The only problem is what is not shown. The officers were dispatched to the scene because of a tip that sterling was menacing someone with a weapon. Sterling has a criminal record of rape and violent offenses including a fight with the police. In the Philando Castile case, Castile's girlfriend started filming after Castile is shot while the cop yells at himself for shooting Castile. The girlfriend continues to narrate what happened even after she is being held by the police. Her filming was streaming live on facebook. Once the problem is what is not shown. What happened before and the shooting itself are not on the video. That is the problem with video and photos they don't show the whole picture and can be understood wrong. The media has also made things worse by not being objective of news stories and in the end exploiting the culture of victimization. Exploitation can lead to deaths like in the deaths of these five officers last night. Blaming others will not solve the problem.
