Have you been experiencing being flagged and downvoted on Steemit? If yes, why?
Does being flagged and downvoted means I did something wrong or I violated some rules in this platform?
Being Flagged and downvoted doesn't mean you did something wrong, _it is still depends on the reasons why other Steemians did it for you. _
Some will downvote a post just to allocate rewards or give their votes to others whom they think posts are more deserved to get the rewards. Some will comment to give a reason why they did so, but very rarely they will give a reason.
Mostly those who are into upvote for upvotes are used into this, they will downvote those who doesn't upvote them back.
Is flag different from downvote?
Downvote and Flag are just the same on this platform. It is considered as flagged if you were downvoted.
Does Flag and Downvote affects the reputation?
Yes, the reputation will be getting affected or your reputation score goes down if you were downvoted by another user.
But downvotes from other users with lower reputation than yours will not affect your reputation.
And if your post or comment that was downvoted still received more upvotes than downvotes, weighted by SP... then your reputation score will not be hurt.

_You will be too unlucky if you were flagged or downvoted by dolphins or whales, _ it will really have a big impact onyour reputation.
Some dolphins or whales will leave a comment and reason for flagging you, it only shows that everybody should know and learn how to respect their fellow Steemians and the platform as well.
_What are the reasons of being downvoted or flagged? _
There are many reasons, I can say that we cannot please everybody... **_Each and everyone has different beliefs, opinions and point of view.
Maybe we believed and think that the post we made is the best, useful, beneficial and informative. But for others, they found the post nonsense, abusive, spam, and worthless to read.
If your post or comment looks spam just to get an upvotes, and if you give a comment irrelevant to the post and obviously that you commented without reading the contents of the article... your post or comments will be annoying to the author and readers, the higher your chance to be flagged.
Some might flag or downvote your post if your post is controversial or your post is against someone's beliefs and thoughts or if they disagree with your post.
Other reasons for being flagged is if others found your post or article contents as plagiarism, the copy-paste must be avoided and for using other articles and images without crediting the source or owner as if you are crediting yourself as the owner.
You must give credits to the siurce of images or contents of article if it is not yours.
Others might flagged you by_ TAG ABUSED, tagging your post irrelevant to tags. You should tag only to specific tags if your post is relevant to the tags you are tagging, otherwise yo will be get flagged.
Others will just Flag or downvote your post for any or personal reason, as I have said earlier... We cannot pleased everybody.
We must THINK before we CLICK! POST and ACT RESPONSIBLY...
