Sometimes making the right choice or even knowing how to choose is a herculean task but it is very important that we understand that our choices control our lives.
Life is a function of choices. There is so much that we do not have control over. For instance, we didn't choose who our parents should be or where we should be born. Chances took over. But as we come of age, life presents us with options and we're expected to make choices. If you choose not to take charge of your life, you will experience the consequences of that choice, and simply be kicked by life, just like a pawn in a chess board.
Life is like a road and just like any road, there are several paths, detours, corners,
and crossroads. The most difficult decision anyone can make is experienced at a crossroad.
The problem of choice is further compounded by:
limited knowledge or the lack of it. For instance, crypto market is very red. Should you hodl or sell? Your answer should be based on how much knowledge you have about cryptocurrency and it's trade.
Uncertainties. A whole lot of times, life graduates from simple 1+1=2 to more complex algebras where 1+1 doesn't equal 2. But like a die cast, you can predict the result of your choices.
It is so important to understand that we are all making choices every time. Even when we chose not to choose, we still have made a choice. It is our choices that determine the outcome of our lives. We are where we are today as a result of the choices we made in the past and what our future would turn out is based on our choices today.
Don't leave your life to chance. Not what would be would be. Your life is in your hands. If you make the wrong choices, you would end up in the wrong places, with the wrong people. The choices we are making today will show up in our experiences in the future.
When making decisions or life's choices, arm yourself with information or knowledge. Have the future in perspective. Weigh your options. Not every opportunity is worth pursuing.
Until we make up our minds to take full responsibility for ourselves and the choices we make, we have no control over our lives. We have been given all the power to create our experiences through our choices, but if we believe that outside forces are responsible for that choice, we give away all of that power.
