Background:
I walked into a thrift store yesterday and this was the first thing I saw. It screamed value, so I grabbed it and checked out the rest of the store to not lose momentum. After quick research and testing, this is me buying it for $19.99, plus tax. It'll be a very quick flip.
Thrifting Tip:
You need to be able to quickly identify profitable items before your competitors that are hunting in the store with you do. It's war. The flip side is to find the hidden value in what inexperienced people have overlooked. In this example, this was inexplicably sitting by itself on a shelf for 1.5 days!
For another example, I once found a $400 sale for $2 in a thrift store window display where people waited in line for hours before the sun came up to have access to these premium curated items. I strolled up at 4 PM, saw it sticking out from behind a shelf, and claimed it in a heartbeat. Suckers!
