Blocktrades is my favourite and quickest way to top up on STEEM POWER; it is super quick especially if you use a fast chain like Bitshares.
How I like to do it is Exchange Bitshares from my Bitshares wallet and then use Bitcoin to rebuy Bitshares from OpenLedger or PoloniEX and refund my Bitshares wallet.
You could also just use bitcoin but I am generally impatient and want my STEEM POWER now.

Steps to Buy more STEEM POWER with Blocktrades.us:
1. Browse to https://blocktrades.us
2. Fill out your details on screen (letters on the screen shot are referenced below, RED= Must do, Green = Optional )
- A. Select the currency you wish to exchange for Steem i.e Bitshares/Bitcoin
- B. Select STEEM POWER
- C. Enter your STEEM username and ensure there are no typos and ensure you get a tick next to your name
- D. Optional; use these fields to estimate how much currency you will need to exchange to get a certain amount of STEEM Power of vice versa.
Note: Take note of the suggested Deposit Amount (below D.) and do not exceed this amount in your transaction which we will perform in the next few steps.
3. Click ‘Get a new deposit Address’ and the following screen will display below the main pane
4. Depending on the currency you are exchanging from, the below maybe different;
In the case of Bitshares you will need to send BTS to ‘blocktrades’ (double check the logo displayed for easy visual representation of the account) and include your unique code as a Memo; mine is show above as ‘c3427250-9e47-4b67-b619-307b2241d2e3’. After you send your transaction will be received in a number of seconds.
In case of bitcoin no memo is required so you just send your desired amount of BTC to the address pictured and wait, your transaction will be seen within 10-60 seconds but will not be proceed until sufficient confirmation/block have been made. This may take some time and is the reason I prefer to use Bitshares as its speed advantage is massive.
Note: No matter which coin you are exchanging make sure you do not exceed the suggested deposit amount
5. Once your transaction is completed you will receive a Transaction confirmation containing details of your exchange
6. Your STEEM POWER will be delivered to your STEEM wallet.
