NBA FANTASY MONDAY 2/26
We are back with another edition of NBA Fantasy Tonight! There are some dynamite sleeper plays that we have identified so you can have the edge on the rest of the fantasy world this evening.
Dennis Schroder PG 7000. Schroder has been bad recently on the road. It is redemption time tonight against the uptempo Lakers at home. Last time these 2 teams squared up Schroder shot the ball 23 in a blowout loss. The line on this one is -2 so it is safe to assume Schroder will see the 4th quarter and a full allotment of minutes this time around. If he put up the ball 23 times 3 quarters last time out we could see an upside here of 28 shots in regulation.
D'Angelo Russell SG 7200. What a price hike today from 6100 last game. I hope the hike gets the public off of him and we get some suppressed ownership this evening. The Nets have lost 14 of their last 15 and finally are in a prime spot to get a win against a Bulls team that has blown 8 of their last 10. In a close affair against the Clippers a few games back Russell finally flashed his upside with a 38.8 usage rating. That is superstar level usage. He has 26 shot upside as will as 12 three point shot upside with the team is trailing. Even at the price hike play with confidence.
Thad Young PF 6800. The Pacers keep winning games lately and Thad Young seems to have found the fountain of youth. Thad has been seeing court time in the high 30's and last game even got 16 shots up. If the Pacers are going to keep competing expect the veteran Young to do his part to get this team a good spot in the playoffs. The price should have hiked much more than 300 given the recent success. 6800 is just too cheap being that the Pacers are again favored on the road against a west coast opponent.
Anthony Davis C 12500. The total on this on is 236! I think that is the highest total of the year! DFS players have been targeting anyone who plays the the Suns currently. Who in the on the Suns is going to stop Davis tonight? Alex Len? I don't think so. Davis has put up over 90 fantasy points in 2 of their last 5. And the Pelicans keep winning with the effort. There is noway around it, Davis is the play at center this evening. Expect high ownership.
Buddy Hield SG 4800. If you wanna look for some savings tonight look no further than Hield. The Kings seem to dishing him the ball lately. He has had an uptick from 9 shots a game to 17. He has also sported several games lately with usage ratings in the high 20's. The biggest stat to look at here is the steady increase in floor time. Hield is now in the 30 minute range on a steady climb up. I have no idea why his price is not being effected, but at 4800 Hield is my top play of the day.
