The most dangerous team in the ACC is back in action today. The Boston College Eagles play the Clemson Tigers in quarterfinal action. The game tips off at 1pm Central Standard Time and can be seen on National Television on ESPN. The game is being played at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Clemson is favored by 5.5 points and the over/under is 139.5 points.
Boston College played an extremely exciting game yesterday against the N.C. State Wolf Pack. They won 91-87 in a thriller and could not be happier to be moving on. Jerome Robinson led the way for the Eagles with 26 points. Ky Bowman played great with 24 points and was a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line. Jordan Chatman was a killer from the 3 point line and nailed 4 of 7 attempts. That trio of guards make for the most dangerous back court in the country and Clemson should not take them lightly. Boston College is one of those teams that no one would want to play in the NCAA Tournament. But to get there, they need to win today against Clemson.
The Clemson Tigers have enjoyed most of the year in the top 25 rankings. They are currently at 19th and are a lock to be an at large team in the NCAA Tournament. Junior Marcquise Reed has been the most consistent player for the Tigers this year. Reed is averaging 16.4 points per game and is one of the best free throw shooters in the country. He will have his hands full today on defense though. Keeping the high powered Eagles guards will take a team effort from the Tigers. How well they are able to slow them down will play the main role in the outcome of the game.
The winner of this game will advance to play in the semifinals on Friday. Thank you for following
