Friday rolls around again and it's been a snowy week here in the UK. We're just not used to it and we're never really prepared for it. I still managed to get to work all week on the train. I do feel for those who have lost power and for those sleeping rough. When and I went to the guitar show last week there were a fair few people camping out in underpasses near Milton Keynes station. I feel our so-called caring society is failing those people.
I've done my usual vlog in the garden whilst the chickens had a wander. I didn't stay out too long today as it was snowing then and it's really coming down now I'm back in the warm.
So here are this week's nominees. I'm not saying you have to follow them, but maybe just check out what they are doing. You may like it and it may give you some ideas. I will have engaged with all of them. Sometimes an interesting comment on one of my posts will lead me to check on what they are posing. Generic 'nice post' comments just make me check if that's all they do and I generally find nothing of interest on their feeds. Post what you think others will find of value and make comments that add to the conversation.
is a new user with some thoughts on self-voting. I don't think it's as simple as banning it as there are ways to do it indirectly. Don't encourage behaviour you don't want to see.
has a video talking about voting bots. He obviously has better weather than I do.
is another new user who has also done a Follow Friday post. That seems to be spreading at last. I've done it almost from when I started here.
is a British Steemian who I met at a conference last year. He's been here a while, but has been posting more often recently.
is an amazing musician from Australia who has started doing the Open Mic contest. You have to check him out.
As always I welcome your suggestions, but I do recommend doing your own post. It's a great way to build the community.
Steem on!
I'll buy guitar picks for Steem Dollars
