Hi friends, how are you? 👋 Welcome to this section, a little piece of me for you, where I want to show you what I've been doing and why I started doing it and adopted it as a hobby, or rather, a way to take time for myself and just focus on myself, finding therapy in needles and thread and creating a miniature piece. Lately, these days we're obsessed with productivity, with doing things that are truly useful, but I've discovered that, for my mental health, few things are as helpful as sitting down to sew a tiny piece, since I make little plushies, smaller than the palm of my hand. I'm constantly looking for things to do because lately I haven't been able to find peace and I hardly take a break. I'm always looking for something to do, but there's the problem: I always have something to do. So I'd rather find something to concentrate on without effort, just relaxing my mind with something I enjoy.
When I hold such a tiny piece, my problems seem to shrink just as much. I can't think about tomorrow's worries when my full attention is focused on making sure the thread is perfectly aligned on the fabric.
💠This little Cinnamoroll 🐰 you see in my hand isn't just an ornament, it's the result of a 4-hour afternoon of silence, patience, and choosing to dedicate time to myself💠.
¿Porque tome la decisión de elegir hacer a cinnamonroll 🐰?
Why did I decide to make a cinnamon roll 🐰?
I've always believed that the objects that surround us say something about us. Cinnamon Roll, with its cloud-like appearance and calming atmosphere, perfectly represents what I seek in my free time. I don't strive for the perfection of a machine with precise stitches. If you look closely, you'll see that my stitches have that inherent irregularity of human work, and that's what I love most in a world where everything is digital: having something physical, something born from a piece of fabric and a couple of hours of dedication. It has a sentimental value that can't be bought or exchanged.
This hobby has taught me that I don't need a huge, complicated project to be happy. A small figure made from a scrap of plush fabric is enough to remind me that I can create beauty from simplicity.
To everyone who read this post, I wish you find your own light, that hobby, however small or simple it may seem, that brings you peace and reminds you who you are outside of your routines. Thank you all for visiting this post, have a wonderful day everyone 😊✨
