Watch the video starting around 25:00 where we learn that if you're not "credentialed press" you will be arrested. The independent journalists in the video stated that they sent emails and phone calls to get these credentials. No answer.....it's quite chilling.
Well folks, here we are again.
What's Dakota Access Pipeline?
Oh yeah, I remember that from like a few months ago......
The Native Americans are currently being stripped of their Treaty lands, as we all sink back into the comfortable stages of forgetfulness.
The police have surrounded the camp and are arresting the remaining peaceful water protectors. I learned that there were around 150 left before the 2 pm deadline approached. I don't know how many are left right now.
The media coverage on this has been scant.
It's quite depressing to see such a small group left considering some months ago there was a huge amount of people who stood with the Native Americans.
It was reported that some independent journalists have been arrested along with some other water protectors still at the camp.
The water protectors set their structures on fire on purpose as part of a ritual.

Here's the video that was released at least a day ago in the hopes that others would come and join them on the day their encampment was to be evacuated by the US government, effectively taking their lands from them (again):
