STEEMIT: As we begin to make our way into August I have stuck my neck out and fixed the average for August to set the target for the number of Accounts at Year End.

Recently I set a Minimum Target of 650,000 Accounts by Year End.

This Minimum Target remains.

Over the last 2 days we have seen no fewer than 5,384 New Accounts registered on Steemit and though it is only 2 days, it is an average of 2,692 Accounts per day.

With 151 days remaining using this average would equate to no less than 406,492 New Accounts.

As we fast approach 300,000 Accounts and begin to make our way through August, I have stuck my neck out and fixed the average for August to set the Target for the number of Accounts at Year End.

By resetting the Target based on the average for August equates to no fewer than a total of 697,548 Accounts.

Based on the uptake of the Accounts over the last few weeks, I am therefore happy to maintain the Minimum Target set at 650,000 Accounts at the Year End, but cannot stress enough that Marketing & Promotion will play a key roll.
