I can understand why the hike to Vernal is one of the busiest in Yosemite National Park. I have made the hike 3 times now and it seems you only see adventurers heading to the falls and never returning from them. Watching the water as it tumbles down the side of the mountain and listening to it strike the ground with such force your jaw is left constantly hanging at your toes. If I could describe my path to heaven, it would definitely include the climb to Vernal Falls. No returns necessary.
