I was already planning to do a product shoot for my favorite malt drink, Malta Guinness, but immediately after I saw the theme for this week's contest, I decided to incorporate the two ideas, and the photos above are the results.

Process
If you look through my Posts in retrospect, you would find the unboxing of the photo studio. So to integrate the theme and the can drink, I knew I had to get creative while still getting a good result. First I tried dipping the can in a bowl of water but it did not create the effect I wanted, so I sprayed a lot of water over it, then it had drops of water stuck around the can, giving it the perfect feel. I also sprayed the photo box. Next, I changed the light to a warm light to match the color of the drink. Also used yellow color in addition to black for the background, because black is perfect and yellow is a match. Shot from the top, bottom, and smack dab. I shot at a very wide aperture as I was trying to compensate for exposure which made the photo a bit too shallow, then I switched to a more narrow one and increased the ISO. LOVED THESE RESULTS.
