I saw a video on tiktok the other day of a guy saying this exact words;
You may have a thousand problems in life, but when you have a health problem, you have one. A healthy person wears a crown only a sick person can see.
These words particularly resonated with me only recently. It was a Tuesday evening, and I was just done with work. A former neighbor came around to spend some time with me and ask for some help with airdops and all. I usually work from home on Tuesdays, and then in the evenings I'd go to the gym. Upon arriving at the gym, we realized it was closed due to some unforseen circumstances. I was devasted. On my way back, I started to feel a bit feverish and cold. It was odd. I figured if I had engaged in an intense session at the gym it would have disappeared, so I didn't mind it too much. Later that evening I caught a serious cold and I had to wear sweaters and socks to help.
The next morning, the antibodies worked. I was feeling much better albeit, still with a slight headache and a tad fatigued. I couldn't go to work so I made a decent breakfast, with loads of eggs. I decided I'd go to the office the next day since I was feeling better and I had so much work to do. Thursday came and I was working, trying to get things done. Later that day, I hit a snag. I was reviewing one of the tasks with my superiors when I started shivering. My teeth was gnashing, and I was completely taken over. For me, it was unfathomable. He dismissed me and asked me to go take a pill and rest. That was when all hell broke loose. I went to the lounge and lay there burning up. I was running such a high temperature that the sofa I laid on was hot like an electric plate. It was incredible. I usually don't tell people when I'm down like that but, I couldn't help it and it was getting pretty serious. I was eventually taken to an hospital and got a lot of injections. Today, I feel a tad better, but still reeling from the sporadic headaches and fatigue.
I've had great care at the clinic, and I've also learned a great deal. One of which, was from the doctor was, I shouldn't wait until I start to see symptoms before I get treatment and medications. Well, thank you for reading. Remember kids, LOOK AFTER YOURSELF.
