Karela is one of my favorite fruits and despite its bitter taste, it's grown on me in Thai food recipes immensely. For starters, karela lowers bad cholesterol levels & super boosts your immune system. I threw in a lot of chopped garlic as I usually do in my dishes, just to add an extra layer of healthiness. This is a routine dish for me so today's dish was expected to come out above average like it normally does, healthwise. It was delicious too.
I've been successful at cutting out fast food as a regular routine in my diet altogether, thanks to vegetables like kale and to fruits like karela. Yummy!
