Hive account@roelandp never ceases to amaze with his enthusiasm, creativity and programming genius in support of Steemit and the Steemit community. Roelandp was both the event coordinator and Master of Ceremonies of the extremely successful and much appreciated SteemFest events.

Now Roelandp brings us the SteemWhale, a real life sized spermwhale that sprays whale snot through its blowhole (ok ok, it's not whale snot, it's really water simulating whale snot). Whenever someone sends Hive account@whalefountain a minimum donation of 1 Steem or Steem Dollar, the whale will then shoot spray out of its blowhole. This is all accomplished through the Steemit Blockchain as designed and created by the master genius Roelandp.

You can also watch a Live stream of the SteemWhale in action as it swims in the harbor of Harlingen, near Amsterdam Netherlands. So if you do decide to donate to this SteemWhale via the Hive account@whalefountain user account, you can watch it live via the live stream.

I personally think this whole setup by Roelandp is the greatest things on any blockchain as far as entertainment value and exposure for the Steemit Blockchain while inspiring minds as to the potential between crypto-currencies, blockchain technology and real-world applications.

Roelandp, if you read this, can I make 2 suggestions.

1. Instead of returning donations when the SteemWhale is asleep or offline, maybe put the donation in a waiting queue until the SteemWhale is back online
2. If this keeps on being successful, embedding a waterproof LED display on the SteemWhale that would type out the message included in the Donation or maybe 5 pre-programmed messages and Donor chooses 1 message to display.
