You see what happened was...
Cirrus and Stormy
The sons of Momma McCloudy
So I have this cat named...
Momma McCloudy
She doesn't like to have her photo taken.
She appeared out of nowhere about a month before my darling Precious, whom I had loved for 18 years, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.
Precious
When Cloudy first made her presence known, she was so sweet and loving. When she laid down she would display the white patches on her belly which resembled cumulus clouds, and that is how she got her name.
My daughter had recently adopted a semi-feral cat who was named Java. When I learned that someone moved away and left Cloudy behind. I adopted Cloudy as my new cat.
I had taken Java to be fixed (or broken as all her parts would have worked as God intended had her girl parts not been surgically "fixed"). Anyway... Java had already been fixed and the previous vet did not give her the tattoo. (Growl) I had to pay anyway because my vet didn't know Java had been fixed until he was preforming the surgery and Java's parts where already done.

Being Java and Cloudy had appeared at about the same time, I thought Cloudy was probably fixed too. I was wrong.
During a snow storm (Snowmageddon), she was in heat and managed to escape. When she first showed signs of being in heat, I didn't have the money to get her fixed and we were keeping her inside the house until I did. Then it snowed...
My daughter's boyfriend let her out (she is normally an indoor/outdoor cat). He knew of her condition but forgot. She was MIA for a few days and returned "with child".
Then on March 25th, 2014 her kittens were born. Three solid black boys and Cirrus.

Cirrus got his name because the hair in his ears reminded me of cirrus clouds.
Stormy got his name because storm clouds are black.
Their two other brothers were named Bagheera and Shadow. Bagheera was adopted by an electrician that was working in the neighborhood and fell in love with him. Shadow lives with my daughter's EX-boyfriend.
So that is how The Sons of Momma McCloudy came to live with us.
Cirrus loves having his photo taken
Stormy, not so much
Happy Caterday
