Hello to everyone in this community and fellow craft lovers! A couple of days ago, my boyfriend's grandmother asked me to make some envelopes she'd seen online and wanted to recreate to deliver church flyers in an attractive way. The idea was for me to make one of each type so she could use them as a guide, so I happily agreed. I'll show you how to make some of these envelopes, in case you'd like to use them for the same purpose or to send a message to a family member or friend (remember, Valentine's Day is coming up soon 💝).
The materials you'll need are paper (preferably colored), scissors, glue, and a desire to do origami. If you don't have colored paper, you can use white paper and then color it with markers or crayons. You can also use recycled paper like old magazines or even newspaper. The only limit is your imagination!

✉️💚🎨 MODEL 1 ✉️💚🎨
The first thing we'll do to make this model is cut the sheet of paper in half vertically. Then, using the brochure or the contents of the envelope as a guide, we'll fold it in the center and wrap it as shown in the photograph, cutting off any excess paper. In this case, I didn't need to cut the sheet.
Next, a small hem is made at the bottom of the piece so that the leaflet or contents of the envelope fit perfectly.
Next, fold the two top corners of the paper inwards, diagonally, creating a shape similar to a "boat," as shown in the photographs. Then, turn the piece over, as we will work on the next step on the reverse side. Open one of the flaps created by folding.
Following the line created by folding the paper, fold the triangle inwards, accordion-style, until you reach the point.

Turn the piece over again and fold the accordion-folded flap inwards to form the shape I'll call a "feather," because that's what it reminds me of, hehe. We used glue on the inside (I didn't because the lady wanted to use the piece as a guide). And with that, the envelope was finished.
I loved the result, and painting the feather-like shape would look quite beautiful, as would adding a message or drawing that shows part of it outside the envelope and the rest when you open it. The possibilities are endless! ✨
✉️💚🎨 MODEL 2 ✉️💚🎨
I found the next model very interesting and cute. For this, I used the other half of the white sheet I cut for the previous envelope. Using the brochure as a guide, fold one of the flaps straight and the other diagonally, as seen in the photos. Once this is done, fold the bottom edge to hold the brochure or message in place.
Next, fold the straight flap inwards and, using scissors, make diagonal cuts as shown in the photos. This will create arrow-shaped cuts.
Thanks to these cuts, you can move on to the next step. Fold one of the "peaks" over the next, so it looks like the photos. I think I only managed to get the first one to turn out nice and the way it should be, haha, but that's because I made the subsequent cuts too wide. So try to make these cuts like the first one, not so wide.
I put some glue on the hem, and when I close it, the envelope will be ready. As I mentioned, it's quite original and decorated; it must look much prettier ✨
I made a couple more... but I got so engrossed in talking to the lady that I forgot to take pictures haha, but I'll show you the results so you can appreciate that you can deliver small messages in a cute and creative way ✨

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de las manualidades! Hace un par de días, la abuela de mi novio me pidió el favor de que le realizase unos sobres que había visto por internet y que quería recrear para entregar los folletos de la iglesia de una forma atractiva. La idea, era que le hiciera un sobre de cada tipo para que ella pudiera guiarse, así que acepté gustosa. Les enseñaré cómo hacer algunos de estos sobres, por si desean darle el mismo uso o para hacer entrega de algún mensaje para algún familiar o amigo (recuerden que se acerca el día del amor y de la amistad 💝).
Los materiales a utilizar son papel (de preferencia de colores), tijera, pegamento y ganas de hacer origami. En el caso de no tener papel de colores, se puede usar hojas blancas y luego pintarlas con marcadores o crayones, así como también, se puede utilizar papel de reciclaje como revistas viejas o hasta papel de periódico ¡La imaginación es el límite!

✉️💚🎨 MODELO 1 ✉️💚🎨
Lo primero que haremos para hacer éste modelo es cortar la hoja de papel por la mitad, verticalmente. Luego, doblaremos usando como guía el folleto o el contenido del sobre, colocándolo en el centro y envolviéndolo como se ve en la fotografía, cortando los excedentes de papel. En éste caso, no tuve necesidad de cortar la hoja.
Seguidamente, se hace un dobladillo pequeño en la parte inferior de la pieza, esto para que el folleto o contenido del sobre, encaje perfectamente.
Luego, doblaremos hacia adentro las dos puntas superiores del papel, en dirección diagonal, obteniendo una figura parecida a un "barco", cómo se aprecia en las fotografías. Después, volteamos la pieza, pues trabajaremos el siguiente paso en el reverso. Se abre una de las solapas que creamos al doblar.
A través de la línea que se obtuvo al doblar el papel, se procede a doblar el triángulo hacia adentro, en forma de "acordeón" hasta que lleguemos a la punta.

Se vuelve a voltear la pieza y se dobla hacia adentro la solapa en donde se realizó el acordeón para que se forme la figura que llamaré "pluma", porque a eso me recuerda jeje Utilizamos pegamento en la parte interior (yo no usé porque la señora quería usar la pieza como guía). De esta forma, el sobre estuvo listo.
Me encantó el resultado y pintando la figura que parece una pluma, se veria bastante bonito, así como colocando un mensaje o dibujo que se pueda ver una parte fuera del sobre y el resto, al sacar el papel ¡Las posibilidades son infinitas! ✨
✉️💚🎨 MODELO 2 ✉️💚🎨
El siguiente modelo me pareció muy curioso y lindo. Para ello, utilicé la otra mitad de la hoja blanca que corté para el sobre anterior. Utilizando el folleto como guía, doble una de las solapas de forma recta y la otra en diagonal, como se ve en las fotografías. Una vez hecho esto, se hace un doblez en la parte inferior, para que se sostenga el folleto o mensaje.
Después, se procede a doblar hacia adentro la solapa recta, para con la tijera, hacer unos cortes en diagonal como se ve en las fotografías. De esta forma, se obtendrán unos cortes en forma de flecha.
Gracias a estos cortes, se podrá hacer el siguiente paso. Se dobla uno de los "picos" sobre el siguiente, para que se aprecie como en las fotografías. Considero que sólo logré que el primero me saliera lindo y como debe ser jaja pero eso fue porque hice los cortes siguientes muy abiertos, así que procuren hacer estos cortes como el primero, no tan abierto.
Coloqué algo de pegamento en el dobladillo y al cerrar, estará listo el sobre. Como les mencioné, es bastante original y decorado, se debe de ver mucho más lindo ✨
Hice un par más... pero me concentré tanto mientras hablaba con la señora que olvidé tomar fotografías jaja, pero les mostraré el resultado de los mismos, para que aprecien que se pueden entregar pequeños mensajes de una forma linda y creativa ✨
