Hello to everyone in this community and collage lovers! I've been wanting to participate in the contest for a while, but being away from home made it difficult to find the time to sit down and make a collage. However, after yesterday's exhausting day, I thought the best thing I could do to clear my mind was to dedicate myself to drawing or making a collage. I've been making some physical collages and it's been really fun, but I wanted to take this opportunity to try to participate in Round 248.

This time, I wanted to create a kind of marine art, as that was the first thing that came to mind when I had the proposed image. I've never been to an aquarium, but the scenes of aquarium visits in anime or movies always fill me with a sense of wonder. I don't understand why. I have a huge fear of the sea, but I like marine documentaries and all the aesthetics of the sea in video games (they're my favorite part). So, I wanted to create a "magical" view for a visitor going to one of these recreational spaces for the first time.

To do this, I searched the community gallery for images that could help me develop my concept. Once I had those, I used Photoshop to start working on it. It was quite relaxing, as the weather was lovely and I could listen to the music on my iPod, which I thought was broken, haha. Basically, I let the music and the collage itself "speak" through me, and before I knew it, it was finished.

I changed the colors of the sea creatures to more vibrant ones, since I love colorful things; not to mention it reminded me of a popular internet aesthetic called "Frutiger Aero" 😊 For the final filter, I used the app Line Camera, my go-to when it comes to image editing. I like it because it's easy to use and, with its limited features, I'm always happy with the results.

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de los collages! Tenía un rato queriendo participar en el concurso, pero estando fuera de casa, se me hacía difícil encontrar la oportunidad de sentarme a hacer el collage. Aunque, luego del día agotador que resultó ayer, pensé que lo mejor que podría hacer para serenar mi mente, era dedicarme al dibujo o a un collage. He estado realizando algunos collages físicos y realmente ha sido divertido, pero quería aprovechar para intentar participar en la ronda 248.

Es esta ocasión, quería realizar una especie de arte marino, pues fue lo primero que pensé con la imagen propuesta. Nunca he ido a un acuario, pero en las escenas de visitas a los mismos que aparecen en los animes o en las películas, siempre me genera una sensación de asombro. No entiendo porqué. Yo le tengo un pavor gigantesco al mar, pero me gustan los documentales marinos y toda la estética del mar en los videojuegos (son mi parte favorita). Por lo qué, quise realizar una vista "mágica" para el visitante que va por primera vez a uno de estos espacios de recreación.

Para ello, busqué en la galería de la comunidad, las imágenes que pudieran servirme para trabajar en mi concepto. Una vez hecho esto, utilicé el programa Photoshop para comenzar a trabajar en el mismo. Fue bastante relajante, ya que que el clima estaba muy agradable y pude escuchar la música que tenía en mi Ipod, aparato que pensaba que ya no funcionaba jaja Básicamente, dejé que la música y el propio collage "hablase" a través de mí y cuando menos me esperé, ya lo tenía listo.

Cambié los colores de los animales marinos por unos más vibrantes, ya que me encanta lo colorido; sin mencionar que me hizo pensar en una estética popular en internet llamada "Frutiger Aero" 😊 Para el filtro final, utilicé la app Line Camera, mi aliada cuando se trata de edición de imágenes. Me gusta porque es sencilla de manejar y con las pocas funciones que tiene, siempre acabo satisfecha con el resultado.
