ENGLISH CONTENT

Hello to all collage lovers! Once again time was not in my favor ha ha still, I did not want to be left out and participate this week. For the Round 177, this is my collage:

I know, it's a little bizarre and it's that while I was looking at the photo offered by the community, I got lost in the environment and above all, in the reflection. It was then that I thought about personalities, since humans are such complex beings that it is difficult to pretend that we have only one type of personality, after all, we are not the same way with all people, much less with ourselves. In the case of those individuals who suffer from multiple personalities, it could be said that a single body can encompass more than one personality, very different from each other, and can be seen as living in a kind of "parallel universe" but without extending into other universes as such. ... yes, it's somewhat cumbersome ha ha but anyway, it was with that idea that I was motivated to work. Using Photoshop, I opened up the base image and did a few tweaks to it to match the mirror image I got from the community gallery. These mirrors represent two personalities of the individual and that is why they are linked to each other, but, if we look further, this "link" presents us with the form of "infinity", to make us understand that there is the possibility of other personalities, apart from of those exposed. As well, water would represent that fluidity between one personality change to another, to the point of being something natural for the individual.

Then, I inverted the colors of one of the scenes inside one of the mirrors, in order to have the bipolarity: The sun and the moon, day and night, an extroverted personality and an introverted one.

I selected another image in the gallery that caught my attention, which is a mouth sticking out its tongue. It seemed perfect to me, because it would be like representing the mocking aspect, that "game" or funny appearance that comes from not being rooted in a single personality. It is as if we were saying "Oh no, I don't want to face this problem, you take care of it" and thus, one personality passes the baton to the next.

I highlighted the scene a bit as I could (my tablet is super old and the strokes are terrible ha ha) and I added a few details to establish a difference between the personalities. I liked the result, because I'm taking these contests as practice to create strange or out of the ordinary scenes. I hope I have explained myself well, because one of the challenges I encountered when I finished the collage was to understand what it represents ha ha

¡Hola a todos los amantes de los collages! Una vez más el tiempo no estuvo a mi favor ja ja aún así, no quería quedarme por fuera y participar ésta semana. Para el Round 177, éste es mi collage:

Lo sé, está algo bizarro y es que mientras observaba la fotografía ofrecida por la comunidad, me perdí en el ambiente y sobretodo, en el reflejo. Fue entonces cuando pensé en las personalidades, siendo que los humanos somo seres tan complejos que es difícil pretender que poseemos un sólo tipo de personalidad, después de todo, no somos del mismo modo con todas las personas y mucho menos, con nosotros mismos. En el caso de aquellos individuos que sufren de personalidad múltiple, podría decirse que un sólo cuerpo puede englobar más de una personalidad, muy distintas entre sí, pudiendo verse como vivir en una especie de "universo paralelo" pero sin extenderse en otros universos como tal... si, es algo engorroso ja ja pero en fin, con esa idea fue que me motivé a trabajar. A través del programa Photoshop, abrí la imagen base y le hice unas cuantas modificaciones para que calzara en la imagen de un espejo que obtuve de la galería de la comunidad. Estos espejos representan dos personalidades del individuo y por eso están enlazados entre ellos, pero, si nos fijamos más allá, ese "enlace", nos presenta la forma del "infinito", para darnos a entender que existe la posibilidad de otras personalidades, aparte de las expuestas. Así como también, el agua representaría esa fluidez entre un cambio de personalidad a otro, hasta el punto de ser algo natural para el individuo.

Luego, invertí los colores de una de las escenas dentro de uno de los espejos, para así tener la bipolaridad: El sol y la luna, día y noche, una personalidad extrovertida y otra introvertida.

Seleccioné otra imagen en la galería que me llamó mucho la atención, la cual es una boca sacando la lengua. Me pareció perfecta, porque sería como representar el aspecto burlista, ese "juego" o apariencia divertida que se desprende el no estar arraigado a una sola personalidad. Es como si dijéramos "Ay no, yo no quiero afrontar éste problema, encárgate tú" y así, una personalidad pasa el relevo a la siguiente.

Remarqué un poco la escena como pude (mi tableta es súper antigua y los trazos son fatales ja ja) y agregué unos cuantos detalles para establecer diferencia entre las personalidades. Me gustó el resultado, porque estoy tomando estos concursos como práctica para crear escenas extrañas o fuera de lo común. Espero haberme explicado bien, porque uno de los retos que me encontré cuando terminé el collage, era que se entendiera lo que representa ja ja
