It's been a couple of weeks since I've talked about Narrative, a new social media platform set to open in a couple of months.
They are currently in the alpha phase, building the niches (unique content hubs where anyone can post, subject to moderation.) and you can join and be part of the alpha. This is my referral code if you want to check it out.
They are accepting new users in batches of 500. They are halfway through round 14. When it is full they will let you in to get started.
So, when I logged in to Narrative today I found that they have completely upgraded the alpha version. I won't go into all the changes here but if you are interested here is a good explanation

Obviously, I have no idea if this platform will be the one, or even decent, I just like that they are going to be built on the NEO blockchain and that they will have some order to the chaos, in the form of niches.
There is still no blogging going on over there yet, as the alpha is focused on building the niches. But anyone can suggest a niche and everyone gets to vote to approve the niche or not. This is good in my opinion, as it gives the alpha users some sense of ownership in forming the beta platform.
They have released their new Spec with all the up to date details of how the site will run in beta, and beyond. Here is a pie graph of the rewards distribution once beta starts up.
The new alpha site is much easier to use and it is all in preparation for the beta release, which is coming soon.
