Just like anybody else here on Steemit. I was lost when I first came, my head was like going to explode because I didn't fully understand the platform. I felt hopeless. How could I get followers and earn from this site? I'm not a blogger, English is not my first language. Do I have to imitate others who are already successful? Thinking that I'm going to be successful like them. But how? "Follow me and I will follow you" I used this once, and I realized this was wrong. I want them to follow me because they see the real me. I thought in the beginning, I got nothing to offer. Then after spending, days, weeks and months, I learned a little bit more and I'm still learning. I'm a newbie.
Steemit is not all about making money. I respect those successful Steemians who have been here for so long. They worked hard from the very beginning. Nobody gave it to them. They work every single day.
How I survive On Steemit And Still Surviving.
1. Be yourself. Never imitate somebody. You are unique.
2. Share from your heart. Share your talents. Can you cook? Can you sing? Dance, can you write?
3. Love what you do. You won't go wrong. If you love your work, you don't feel like it's work.
4. Leave a real comments from your heart, people can feel if you're copying and pasting a comment.
5. Be consistent, post regularly if you can.
6. Do not force yourself to be successful right away.
" Steemit is not a SPRINT It's a Marathon"
7. Avoid using "follow me back" or advertise your posts on the blogs of others especially if it's not related to the topic. Respect the author. (kung magkaibigan kayo ok lang kasi kilala mo)
8. Do not get hurt if they don't follow you back. You can unfollow them if you want, it's your choice.
9. Develop your crafts. Learn to count your blessings instead of counting the blessings of others.
10. You don't get noticed? It's painful but that's fine. Don't rush.
11. Be grateful for whatever earnings you've got.
12. Do not compare yourself to other Steemians. This is a trap!
13. Focus on your wall/blog.
14. Respect the elders, old Steemians who have been here for a long time.
15. Do not get jealous or envy others. If you are, that's ok but do it in a positive way by improving your skills. Again this is a TRAP because you become focused on them, not on your own blog.
16. Don't give up. Keep trying.
17. Make friends, lots of friends. I met alot of funny, loving and crazy friends:) I'm surviving because of them lols

If you want to be inspired and get motivated, read the blogs of inspiring Steemians. Aside from your original content and your talents, it is very important to have a positive attitude. Yes, attitude is important than your impressive work.
Share from your heart. You are unique. Motivate others. You cannot please everybody. Some people will like you, some will not. Just be yourself. Rock n Roll!
