Hive account@youarehope- A Steem funded charity that is doing great things for people in 3 different countries. So far they are providing "meals to children in the Philippines, Food, Clothing and Shoes to disadvantaged people in Venezuela and school supplies and backpacks to some very grateful children at an impoverished village school in Nigeria" (Source). The blockchain has some excellent opportunities to make spending more transparent in a lot of sectors. So far, my favorite sector to improve transparency in is charity. How many more people could be helped with the minimal overhead that Steemit provides? I am so excited that the community is providing relief in such a direct and effective way.

The technique for this is really cool- it's a print made by cutting into a sheet of linoleum and stamped with ink. She also does some amazing realistic images of animals in watercolor.
