Spring weather is officially here, and the flowers are popping up all over the garden scape. The daffodils are in full bloom; these are the few varieties that I have.
I love all of them, but these are my favorites that grow under the Cedar tree beside the driveway.
Here is a row of Forsythia bushes that line the edge of the property, and they are a favorite shelter for the sparrows throughout the winter months.
The Star Magnolia is in full swing, but the flowers are getting beaten up by the daily rainfall.
The Iberis, aka Candytuft, have started to bloom around the gardens.
This pink variety has always been my favorite, but I do appreciate the white Iberis too.
I only have a few Hyacinth flowers left after 30 years, and here are two that are blooming now.
The Helebores are going strong still. Here are two clumps that have gotten quite large.
I moved the onion flats outside to harden off, and they are next to the back porch waiting to be planted after this next Monday's cold dip. It could go below freezing for two nights after having 80°F days this week. I mean, seriously, with this odd weather pattern, it needs to end.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
