Courage means to keep making progress while you still feel afraid. - Joyce Meyer
Oh you can tell, Joyce!
Those of you who've read my blog post The longest five seconds of my life know that I had to make a bad experience the last time I went windsurfing.
Today the tide has turned. I managed to get myself hooked a couple of times - wohoooo!
There's still kind of an inner deadlock, but I'm on a good way.
Here's to the greatness of being literally hooked on a new passion!
There's nothing you can't do
In my recent blog post Step out of your head and start living I explained how important it is to fully control our mind.
Sometimes it's even more important to be mentally ready than physically trained.
Today I noticed once more how great it is to be able to rely on a strong mindset, will power and a backbone.
After a couple of failed attempts ruled by fear, I finally managed to get hooked again (tie myself to the sail).
Btw: Watch the video until the very end in order to witness a real PRO windsurfing :-)
I hope you enjoyed the clip as much as I enjoyed editing it for you.
Now I need some rest, can't feel my arms anymore - haha! There were some heavy gusts of wind that twitched at my arms, as you may have noticed in the video.
Yet, it's been totally worth it: I made some huge progress today.
Remember: Courage means to keep making progress while you still feel afraid.
We're definitely braver than we actually think.
Enjoy your Sunday, steemians!
