When They Say You Can't Then You Have To

Who said that girls who fear water can't learn how to surf waves?

Yes it has taken me a couple of years to overcome my angst. In the beginning I didn't even know if I could come so far. Things seemed too complicated for a person that never grew up close to the beach.

However, I found so much happiness out there - in me - while trying to catch some of these waves, that I didn't give up. 

Sometimes you just need to believe in yourself. 

You need patience and consistency.

With these two characteristics you may probably achieve every goal that you will ever establish in your life. 

Pursuing a goal is even healthy. It keeps you vital, energetic, in movement. Pursuing a goal in the water is even painful sometimes. However, falling down and standing up is what makes us grow - in the Ocean and on Earth.

I was incredibly lucky. 

The music perfectly matched with the images and I didn't need to edit much. 

Today I brought the whole equipment to the beach, so I could install the GoPro directly on my surfboard. That was actually a huge plus compared to the other day when I had to hold the cam in my hand all the time. 

Actions speak louder than words, so I leave you with some of my favorite shots from the video.
