What's the ONE thing that your don't have room for in your bug-out bag that is absolutely necessary to increase your odds of success in any situation that you may find yourself in?
Is it...
=> A. 1,000 Rounds of Ammo
=> B. Water Distiller w/Pots
=> C. Full Encyclopedia/Library of Resources
Of course any or all 3 would be helpful, but answer "C" would be my choice for a few reasons.
First, there is just so much to remember and a reference library could be helpful when starting over in a new location. Knowledge is the ultimate power in the aftermath of a SHTF event.
Plus... what if you're bugging out with family who are not as "in the know" as you are with your survival skills and training... how would they do if you were no longer there to guide or protect them?
They would REALLY benefit from some tips and resources to make it.
Now, the elephant in the room is that all your books and guides would never fit in your BOB or even be advised to lug along the journey in a sketchy situation.
Here is a "multi-tool" that solves this very dilemma....
A resource of useful tips and strategies that literally fits in the palm of your hand.
=> Survival Playing Cards ( Free Today!)

Fifty-Two tips won't replace the volumes of info contained in your entire survival library, but we need to think in practical terms - you're not taking EVERYTHING with you anyway!

My wife and I used our cards during the five days without power from the last hurricane - we even invented a new game that we named "Hurricane"... :)
