Summer rolls are extremely easy to make. If you know how to wrap a gift, you are definitely able to make one of these. It takes about five minutes to do it!
What you need
- Rice paper
- Salmon or pork (I used both. Use salmon that is suited to eat raw. This is not a problem to find in Norway...)
- Vegetables and fruit (Mango, cucumber, chili, carrots, and tomatoes. Basically anything you like)
- Sprouts
- Salad
- Cilantro
- Sweet chili sauce
- Soy sauce
Only your imagination limits what you can fill these with. I know a lot of people use rice too, but I wanted to fill mine up with sprouts and crispy salad leaves in stead.
Step one - prep
Slice up all the veggies and fruit.
Slice the salmon and cook the ground pork.
Put it all on a plate, so you are ready to fill these bad boys up!
Step two - wrap it
Dip the rice paper in water and put them on a cutting board.
Place the filling in a square shape in the middle of the rice paper.
Fold the top of the paper over the filling, firmly!
Wrap the outsides of the paper in towards the middle.
Flip the lower part over the food to seal the food in. Flip it around and place it on a plate.
Repeat
Enjoy!
Use soy sauce, sweet chili sauce or any other dipping sauce that you might like as a dip!
This is so yummy, but also very healthy.

I use the square ones, that I get at my local Asian Super Market. They've got everything there and it has quickly become my favorite store.
I'm writing this at the airport. I'm on my way to Sweden again for work. I will make sure to share some food updates from when I'm there. Stockholm is such a great city, with so many amazing restaurants.
