Sunday is here again! Craving something healthy?
Try fruit infused water and pancakes with cottage cheese and strawberry jam.
Well, to be honest, it’s not pancakes it’s “speltlompe”. It’s like a very thin pancake without sugar, made with spelt flour. That means less calories and more healthy.
I fill it with cottage cheese, banana and a little strawberry jam. Yum!!!
And the trick to infuse water with yummy flavors is to put what every you’d like to flavor the h2o with in a jar/mug and pour a little boiling water over it.
Let it cool a little and then fill cold water in the rest of the jar or mug. Maybe add some ice cubes too!
I’ve got ginger and kiwi in this one. But cucumber, blueberries, strawberries, mint and other herbs are delicious for water flavors.
It’s so important to drink enough water, and if you’re not a huge fan of the liquid gold, then try infusing it with your favorite fruits and chill it in the fridge.
A fancy straw also helps!
