El enemigo silencioso que a veces azota mi vida
Cuando el brillo se va, nuestra motivación se ralentiza y nos obliga a mantenernos en slow living. Un enemigo silencioso se lleva todo de ti, te empuja a abrazar tus cobijas al comenzar el día; en el fondo sientes injusticia, repites una y otra vez: ¿Por qué de nuevo estás aquí? Yo no te invité, y aún pagaste por un boleto en primera fila, justo para observar cada facción de mi pálido y enflaquecido rostro.
Te pido que te vayas, que te apartes de mí, percibo cada uno de tus matices, los valido, pero también los desapruebo, les temo, y también les guardo rencor, porque me convierten en alguien que no soy, ni fui, ni seré. En el fondo, tras la puerta de casa, están mis sueños más genuinos, la pureza de un alma sin recuerdos vagos, una versión que lo quiso todo, que aunque lo intentó, fracasó, con la esperanza de que los destellos brillan tras creer que todo estaba perdido, pero aún así, en esta vida no será.

Focus on something small: the sun’s reflection on your coffee cup, the sound of a page turning, the scent of a candle, or the softness of your favorite sweater.

The silent enemy that sometimes plagues my life
When the spark fades, our motivation slows down and forces us into a slower pace of life. A silent enemy takes everything from you, pushing you to hug your blankets as the day begins; deep down you feel injustice, repeating over and over: Why are you here again? I didn’t invite you, and yet you paid for a front-row seat, just to observe every feature of my pale and gaunt face.
I ask you to leave, to step away from me; I perceive every nuance of yours, I acknowledge them, but I also disapprove of them, I fear them, and I also hold a grudge against them, because they turn me into someone I am not, nor was, nor will ever be. Deep down, behind the door of my home, lie my most genuine dreams—the purity of a soul without vague memories, a version of myself that wanted it all, that tried but failed, hoping that glimmers would shine after believing all was lost, but even so, in this life, it will not be.
