SteemFollowers is a very easy app that will show you who follows you and you get a good view of the number of followers you get every day.
As you can see from this screenshot, it takes time to grow a good follower. You can not stop before the momentum increases or you will never be able to reach your full potential on Steemit.

Notice how in the last few months the number of users who follow me every day starts to grow exponentially. This is not unique to my account. Some people think it's because of the OpenMem Steemit contest that I host but I have been holding the contest for 39 weeks now.
