Slideshow in the app doesn't work

Expected behavior

After pressing the start slideshow, the apl should start a slideshow.

Actual behavior

After pressing the start slideshow button, the app wasn't able to start it and is stuck there showing only the picture we started from.

How to reproduce

Select a folder first which has some photos in it.
Open a picture and start slideshow.
The slideshow won't work.
