This is my entry to the 
Only 8 teams are left in the tournament which means that we are into quarter final stages and we have seen a surprise entry in the form of hosts Russia.
Another lesser famous football nation Japan almost made it before going down in the penalties against the mighty Belgium.
The match between England and Colombia also went down the wire and England just managed to edge past their opponents in the penalty shoot out.
