En esta fotografía se resume el estrecho vínculo entre dos hermanos que siempre están el uno para el otro.
Compañeros de aventuras, apoyo mutuo, cariño genuino, incondicionalidad y tantas otras maneras de decir te amo.
Agradezco a mi esposo por haber insistido en que tuviéramos dos hijos en lugar de uno, como yo había planeado inicialmente.
This photograph captures the close bond between two siblings who are always there for one another.
Adventure partners, mutual support, genuine affection, unconditional love, and so many other ways of saying "I love you."
I am grateful to my husband for insisting that we have two children instead of just one, as I had originally planned.
Ese día habíamos viajado por una consulta médico para mis hijos.
Nos llevó toda la mañana una y gran parte de la tarde la otra. Habíamos agendado una a las 8:30 A.M. y otra a las 2:00 P.M., porque eran dos médicos diferentes y en dos sitios diferentes.
Antes de la primera cita médica, aprovechamos de llevar a mis hijos a desayunar unos pastelitos maracuchos que ellos aman y que cada vez que viajamos a Lechería, son parte de nuestro itinerario.
That day, we had gone to a doctor’s appointment for my kids.
One appointment took up the entire morning, and the other took up most of the afternoon. We had scheduled one for 8:30 a.m. and another for 2:00 p.m., because they were with two different doctors at two different locations.
Before the first doctor’s appointment, we took the opportunity to take my kids out for breakfast to get some Maracucho pastries that they love—every time we travel to Lechería, they’re part of our itinerary.
Yo desayuné en una arepera, pero pedí el relleno aparte de la arepa y no me comí, para respetar mi dieta 😁.
Quedé muy satisfecha con este desayuno, pura proteína y algo de grasa💪.
I had breakfast at an arepa place, but I asked for the filling on the side and didn't eat it, so I could stick to my diet 😁.
I was really happy with this breakfast—all protein and a little fat💪.
Al mediodía, mis hijos almorzaron pizza, teníamos poco tiempo para la otra cita, así que mi esposo y yo no comimos, porque en esa pizzería no había nada permitido para mí.
Pero como había desayunado bastante bien, no nos importó.
At noon, my kids had pizza for lunch. We didn't have much time before our next appointment, so my husband and I didn't eat, because there was nothing at that pizzeria that I could eat.
But since I'd had a pretty good breakfast, we didn't mind.
Llegamos a la clínica donde teníamos la segunda cita médica, habían dos pacientes por delante, debíamos esperar.
Salimos un poco después de las 4 de la tarde, algo tarde, considerando que debíamos retornar a nuestro hogar.
En seguida emprendimos nuestro viaje de regreso.
Fue un día agitado, apenas llegamos a la autopista, mis hijitos quedaron rendidos, como lo pudieron ver en la foto que les mostré al inicio.
Nos detuvimos a comer mi esposo y yo en Anaco, porque no habíamos almorzado aún.
Inevitablemente nos alcanzó la noche, pero gracias a Dios llegamos bien a nuestra casa.
We arrived at the clinic for our second medical appointment; there were two patients ahead of us, so we had to wait.
We left a little after 4 p.m., which was a bit late, considering we had to head home.
We immediately set off on our return trip.
It was a hectic day; as soon as we got on the highway, my little ones were exhausted, as you could see in the photo I showed you at the beginning.
My husband and I stopped to eat in Anaco because we hadn’t had lunch yet.
Night inevitably caught up with us, but thank God we made it home safely.
