Hey guys,
I'm not married yet but some day I hope I will. We were talking the other day with some guys and the question of availability came up. In the modern world, social media has replaced real time conversations. Texting is a norm and really getting to hear a voice or a tone is not really a mandatory requirement to get your message across.
I believe that if you're in a committed relationship with someone, you will find some time in your day to be in touch with them. It doesn't have to be for hours, for as long as communication is upheld. That you are really interested in the welfare of your significant other.
No matter how busy your schedule is, if you go a day or two without talking to your partner, you miss them because you are fond of them. That's my version, it could be different for some. Which is why I wouldn't say I'm in love with anyone who for some reason doesn't treat me as a priority and the same goes for me.
Neglecting your lover is a form of abuse. It shows that you do not respect them enough to listen or attend to their needs. By needs, I really don't mean physical, material or financial, I mean the need to be heard, to be assured that someone has got your back. Because life can be challenging or smooth, in both scenarios, you need someone to share those experiences with.
Let me know what you guys think in the comment section below.
