24 hours ago, a kind stranger named took it upon himself to help me get my account activated, sacrificing some of his own hard earned money to help a total nobody. Since then I have met some wonderful people,

I love my steemit family! (This art IS NOT MINE, I got the help of my cousin for the steemit logo, and the main picture is a stock photo at its core, I just put them together last minute, I am sorry for misleading anybody, I just ran out of time. Anyways the only art on this post is the artistic rendering of my moms eye)
This is probably the most energized I have been spiritually, creatively and intellectually in a long long time, as for years, the constant stress about my families financial situation has done a number on me. Today I laughed harder, smiled wider, and am currently covered almost head to toe, in paint, chalk and pastels!
And it looks like I wasn't the only person who noticed this change. During the first couple minutes of dinner where my mom made traditional icelandic lamb (I'll post a recipe about this at some point ), I walked in and sat down with a big ol' goofy grin on my face. My mom with her signature inquisitive demeanor asked me: "Hvað ertu að brosa um?", thats icelandic for "What are you smiling about" for those who are not in the know. I looked at her and I said, "Ég held að ég hafi bara uppgötvað framtíðina"
I think I just discovered the future
I then proceeded to pull up my Steemit page, and told her to read it. She sat there for a minute, looking inquisitively at what I was showing her.
Without saying anything, she got up, walked over to me, and just said
Listin þín og hugur þinn mun leiða þig þar sem þú þarft að fara
Your art and mind will lead you where you need to go
She had a small hint of a tear under her eye and a look of total pride on her face.
Thank you Steemit, and have a fantastic night!
Update: something was stopping the pictures from loading, I've fixed that now
