We are Strong & Powerful
Day 7 The word VOW
Verb = When Jesus set foot in our world, wisdom became in action. He came not only to uphold His word, but also to fulfill it. The Old Testament prophecy is about the coming of the Messiah (Jesus). Our Father was introducing Jesus and the New Testament was all about Jesus prophesying about the coming of the promise, which is the Holy Spirit. In a horizontal sense, we deal with people. In a vertical sense, we deal with God. We need to understand when dealing with people it’s different when dealing with God. We need to be aware the environment we are in. For instance, in James speaks about our faith mixing with action. On earth in order for us not to offend people what we say should follow with action. However, with God our faith is to believe. We don't work for it, but simply believe. When the Father says a promise it will be done. In our world, when we say it, we need to fulfill our actions and God will help us keep our word. The Father is always faithful, but sometimes we have a hard time fulfilling our promise. To be authentic with people we need to follow up. How we treat them is how we treat God. If we can love the people we see, then we can love a God we cannot see according to 1 John.
Owe = Owe no man anything , but love. Debt is a stronghold and it is hard to master. Being a slave to debt is unnecessary. However, some debts are good, if we are financially literate regarding real estate or/and owning a corporation. What the rich do they use other people's money. They know how to invest and make sure their assets are paying them monthly. The differences in expense, income, liability and asset: only asset pays us money. Income is the money we make, liability is the money we pay, and expenses is the money we spend. It is important to focus on tangible wealth or asset because it is the best form of future savings. Stay away from the devil's orchard and do not eat his fruit. This master (Satan) will enslave us to the point we want to commit suicide. Where our heart is there we will store up our treasure. Choose the kingdom of God!
Weak = God's grace is sufficient for His power is made perfect in our weakness. Our weakness is really our strength in God. We must decrease and He must increase in our life. The connotation (an idea or quality of the word) sounds negative, but it is really positive. When we allow the Holy Spirit to work in us and through us it feels like we are insignificant, not needed or empty. However, if we put our feelings in perspective, then the outcome is powerful. For example, we are like a conduit where the blessing of rewards flows to the people we loved. When we move out of the way, God can do great things for us. The Lord said to call on Him and He will answer us and show us great and mighty things we did not know. Thus, the secret to our strength is our weakness. When people saw Jesus on the cross in their eyes He was weak. The victory occurred right before their eyes and defeated the devil once and for all. We have a great God and He is willing to open our eyes to the invisible realms if we allow Him. The father of lies, says we are weak, but in fact we are really strong. Have a mindset of strength and vitality!
