When a kid starts to study something new, it must be VERY interesting for him, otherwise, it will be a total fail.
Kids can't analyze and evaluate like adults what is useful for them, or why they should spend time and efforts for doing something that is very boring for them.
That's why parent's task is to find any way to make a subject really interesting for a kid.
We started English with my son some motnhs ago. So now it's a period of separate words and easy word constructions.
For now we were studying face parts and their names.
I was thinking long how to transform simple words into a game + making them easy for remembering.
Nothing is better that visualition, and if it's funny, it's super effective!
So I proposed my son to play a word game creating a character of separate face parts.
At first he had to draw these parts and cut them all. And it was start of his fun:) He already was in love with this game:)😃
I was helping him writing their names down in the paper
And then it was the most funny part - creating a face combining all parts together.
Of course, I pronounce new words for him, he had to repeat and then combine them into a funny face that is similar to mine, to his Dad's one, to his face or just making a super funny face of a robot or a cartoon character.
Then I added a phrase "Where is...."
So he had to identify what part I said, then found it and reply "It's a ....".
We were laughing a lot creating funny faces, and with the help of such a game my son get all new words fast and without boring studying.
I'm sure all kids will love such a fun game🌟
