For the people who don't have any Idea what BAT is all about, let me give you a brief introduction.
BASIC ATTENTION TOKEN
BAT is trying to disrupt advertisement industry. When you google search for shoes, you see shoe advertisement like everywhere. That is google collects your data and sell to advertisers and keep the money all to itself. BAT instead of filling its pocket give a share of BAT token to people for viewing the advertisement.
BAT work on BRAVE browser (former team member of Firefox are working building the browser)
Few days back, I read a news about BAT giving out tokens to TWITCH Streamers.
It was a great thing to attract the audience and aware them about BAT and Brave browser.
Well, I think BAT and STEEM together can do something great.
We have a platform like TWITCH on Steem Blockchain, D.LIVE. But that's not the point here.
Steemians are trying to earn few SBDs creating content. They won't mind additional income in the form of BAT token.
BAT which is trying to gain audience and users for its platform will get around 64000 users using the browser every day. I think its a win-win situation for both the blockchain.
7 days Rewards
People trying to earn money through steem creates a blog which gives rewards for just 7 days. While on google once you create content, you earn until your content gets views.
Similar is the case with You-tube.
If BAT partners with Steem, man people creating content could earn money for months or years. Until you content is relevant, you could earn money.
That's gonna be huge.
SMTs
With SMTs being introduced on the blockchain, we would have many platforms like Steemit on the internet. We will surely have many more content creators in future.
Right now, we stand at 777000 users, with SMTs there would be a million more users, trying to earn some SBDs.
BAT will come as complementary earning to them.

Conclusion
BAT and STEEM both look like promising blockchain technology. Trying to disrupt billion dollar market of content and advertisement. With flexibility given by Brave browser to open or close advertisement, people won't be frustrated by any advertisement.
The partnership looks like promising one, 
With BAT and Steem partnership, I could sense steem prices and BAT prices skyrocketing.
