Greetings friends, today I want to tell you about a few finds I made while walking around the historic part of the city. It was a beautiful summer day - the best time for a leisurely stroll. My route took me through one of the central districts, among the buildings built in the XVIII - XIX centuries. I did not so much walk along the streets and boulevards, as I turned into alleys and courtyards, for it was there that the most interesting finds could be waiting for me.
As I see it, the best find of the day was a small painting on the theme of sailing the sea of knowledge. I found it in the archway leading to the courtyard. You could have walked past it and not noticed the painting, but I was paying attention. I took a picture of the arch too, for a better understanding of the context. See the picture? About in the middle of the arch is a red door, to the right there is a large light coloured spot on the wall, and at the bottom of this spot you can see the glare. This is the painting, the paint reflects the sun's rays.
The description of the arch was necessary to convey the scale of the drawing. It is quite small, and the figure of the boatman is miniaturised. To the left of the painting is the door, which can also be considered an art object. The lower left side is particularly good.
I walked for quite a while this day, and the drawing in the archway was not my only find. The next unusual drawing I came across was in a children's playground.
This graffiti looks like children's drawings. The hare and the wolf are characters from a popular cartoon film. The fence around the playground is not the result of a spontaneous creative impulse, but it also attracts attention.
The next find was also waiting for me in the yard. At first glance it may seem that I am standing on a wide street in front of a building facade, but it is not so. The modern building was built inside the block so as not to disturb the rhythm of the historical buildings. The drawing, made by artists from the group HoodGraff, depicts the legendary rock musician Viktor Tsoi.
