Catherine Palace
I went for a walk in the Catherine Park at Tsarskoye Selo one day in late autumn. Catherine's Park is very beautiful, on the way I took many pictures, and I have already shown some of them with the beautiful nature of the park. Today I want to pay more attention to the palace pavilions.
Catherine Palace
A lockdown was declared in St. Petersburg and the museums were closed on those days. The Catherine Palace with its delightful interiors was also closed to the public, but nothing prevented one from admiring the beautiful architecture.
Marble Bridge
Catherine Park is very diverse in its landscaping. Near the Catherine Palace you will find straight alleys and equally trimmed garden trees, the paths are laid perfectly flat, and from each of them there is a beautiful view of the palace. The far side of the park is landscaped and designed in a romantic style. The paths curve intricately and lead walkers to various garden pavilions, reminiscent of historical events.

I started and ended my walk at the Catherine Palace, but in between these two occasions I walked around the entire park in a circle, making a trip around the Great Pond.
Park Pavilion Lower Bath
The Lower Bath Pavilion is a little away from the main alleys; it is a modest building with a purely utilitarian purpose. The sauna, pool, and bathing rooms for the courtiers were arranged in this pavilion.

Turkish baths
In the Turkish bath pavilion were arranged baths and swimming baths for the imperial family and courtiers. The interiors of the baths are decorated in Moorish style

Chesmen Column
The Chesmen Column was built in honor of naval victories in the Russian-Turkish War of 1768-1774. Chesmen Column is installed on a granite pedestal approximately in the center of the Great Pond, this column can be reached only by boat.
The day was warm and sunny, and there were many people walking in the park. Some were just walking around, some were feeding the ducks, and some were resting on the benches, with their faces turned toward the sunlight, trying not to miss a single moment of this beautiful autumn day.
